Biography
Tom is a storyteller based in Auckland, New Zealand. His documentaries, short films and music videos have been featured on VICE, The Guardian and MTV. With a focus on character driven narrative, Tom’s feature-length screenplay’s have been recognized in The Black List’s Top List on three occasions while also being shortlisted in the top 10% of the esteemed Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship. In 2021, Tom’s screenplay THE TELEVANGELIST led to an option with Canadian production company, Minds Eye Entertainment. In 2022, his debut feature film SHUT EYE was selected to premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival.
