Amidst the Colombian Andes, a group of trans women from the Embera Chami community make their way into the international fashion scene, empowered through artistic collaboration and creation while preserving their spiritual heritage and ancestral connection to their territory.

In the privacy of his studio, Colombian painter Santiago Cárdenas works with the skill that that comes only from experience. He is model and mentor to a family that includes numerous artists now residing all over the world, and also devoting their lives to art. Each of them works from their own personal truth, passion and specialty. What lies behind a work of art? And further, what lies behind an artist? Like leaves from a single tree, these creators share their artistry, generating a cluster of stances, worldviews, and individual aesthetics.

Two sisters, Ati and Mindhiwa, are part of the Arhuaca tribe, a Colombian indigenous culture. Their dream is to continue with their university studies, but they have no money and it is impossible for them to enter in to the National University.
