The film is composed of a series of episodes about how a twenty-year-old needs to let go.
A day at a youth-club in the outer parts of Oslo where a film team is trying to depict the importance of these clubs, but finds there's a lot of discussion about problems and expulsions between the youngsters.
The criminal Tom goes in and out of jail and feels he is getting destructive, where he can't distinguish between love and violence, endearment and toughness nor self realization and self destruction.
