Nowadays the art of baking bread has become so common that it lost the charm of its confection. This documentary presents a bakery that has never lost the essence or taste of producing this essential good. From distribution to production, gestures can be observed that, in the mere details, allow us to appreciate this ancient art in a way that is not common these days.

Set against the glistening backdrop of Porto’s Douro River, "de Ouro" is a quiet, three-minute drift through a world often overlooked. Captured in a grainy 5:4 frame that evokes the feel of a memory, this observational short film invites the viewer aboard a simple river cruise — not for grandeur, but for the fleeting poetry of sunlight on water, a breeze through aged stone. More impression than narrative, "de Ouro" gently reminds us that the smallest moments — like the river’s golden glimmer — are often the ones that stay with us, etched not in time, but in feeling.
