Lee Dror is an award-winning animation filmmaker and illustrator based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Specializing in emotionally rich narratives, she creates vibrant and expressive animated worlds that often center on family dynamics and relationships. Her latest film, Pisces, has been screened at festivals worldwide and has won awards, showcasing a poignant exploration of loss and identity. Similarly, her previous film, Mirrors, also received recognition and accolades, further establishing her as a distinctive voice in the animation scene. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Lee has worked as a designer and art director for various animated commercial productions, enhancing her diverse skill set. After Rona cut contact with her family in Israel and moved to Japan, a surprising phone call from her father, informing her that her sister had been killed in an accident, changes her world. The film follows the most difficult 24 hours of her life, during which she tries to continue her daily routine as a member of a family for rent. As she denies her sister's death she begins to be a stranger that is trapped in her previous world.
