Biography
Tomás Guedes (Porto, 1998) is a Portuguese visual artist and filmmaker. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Cinema from NOVA University Lisbon and studied Audiovisual Communication at Carlos III University in Madrid (Erasmus+). Focused on his artistic practice, he completed the Cinema/Moving Image course at Ar.Co - Center for Art and Visual Communication, in 2024. His work explores childhood, trauma, memory, dreams, and intergenerational differences.

Inspired by "A Sombra" from "Contos do Gin-Tonic" by Mário-Henrique Leiria. During the night, illusion arises from the synaptic processes of delirium. In the spell for clarity challenges arise from the relationship between body and mind. In this psychological universe of mental confusion, the shock induces distortion and changes in perception.
