Panduranga Mahatyam is a 1957 Telugu film directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao and starring N. T. Rama Rao playing the role of Pundarika. The Lyrics written by Samudrala Ramanujacharya are excellent. The songs of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao particularly Jaya Krishna Mukunda Murari and Amma Ani Pilichina are ever remembered as the best film songs expresses the human feelings of devotion and sorrow.

Ramadasu, a perpetual debtor, wants his son Raghu to marry Manjari in order to acquire Mukunda Rao's assets. But Raghu is already married to Leela and Manjari loves Raja, Leela's brother. Raja and his friend Bhaja Govindam hatch a plan to teach everyone a lesson.

Kalavathi endures storms, deception, and exile, yet remains devoted. Ultimately, Rambha manipulates Kalpalika, a fanatic devotee, into preparing Kalavathi’s sacrifice at the Bhubaneshwar temple in pursuit of divine power.

After King Siddhoji's wife instigates him against his three nephews named Somoji, Subandhi and Firoji, a series of unfortunate events occur.
