Biography
Kyle Cyr is a filmmaker from Florida whose work centers on intimate, emotionally resonant storytelling. He recently directed the award-winning films Music Box (2022) and Morendo (2023), which screened at more than 30 film festivals across the United States. His newest film, Have a Seat (2025), was just released, and he is currently in post-production on his upcoming project Masterpiece, slated for a 2026 release. Kyle began filmmaking at a young age, but it wasn't until high school that he began honing his craft. After submitting his early work to a local festival, he won Best Student Film two years in a row. He is passionate about telling emotional stories that audiences can connect with and project their own experiences onto. They're focused on the dynamic of human relationships and experiences, isolation, and what it means to love in the modern age. Kyle takes tremendous pride in his work's cinematography, video editing, and sound design.
