Flikken Rotterdam takes place in Rotterdam, and is after Flikken Maastricht the second Dutch spin-off of the Flemish show Flikken.

In Amsterdam Paradise we're witnessing the development of the relationship between Adam and Eva and see how it’s continually influenced and affected by dozens of other stories set in the city. Amsterdam Paradise is a shimmering mosaic narrative of the city, life and love.

Pluk has a great red crane truck, but no home. Like every little boy, he needs a place to live. So it fits well that a tower room is available in the colorful Petteflet apartment block. Pluk can move in here and immediately makes new friends, but he also gets in a lot of trouble: With Ms. Sauberer, who always cleans, and the architect who wants to cut down the idyllic Turtelpark ...

In De Nestvlieder, Cor - a nest keeper - has been caring for his disabled mother Teuntje all his adult life. When his sister Hennie - who is on sabbatical - comes back to take care of their mother as well, Cor's life, which consists entirely of fixed patterns, gets upset.

A widowed Latvian father's quest for a much-loved Dutch pen pal, whom he hasn't heard from in three decades, provides the basis of this comedy-drama. The father is accompanied by his traumatized and mute eight-year-old son whom he had to kidnap from a Riga hospital. Together, the two flee towards Holland where the father Yuris hopes to find his long-lost friend Marie, whom he remembers as a great beauty. During the long journey, father and son have several funny adventures, many of which occur because neither father nor son speak much Dutch. They finally arrive at Marie's door empty-handed. What they find, gives them little hope, for the lithe young idealist of Yuris' dreams has become middle-aged and cynical.
