A multimillionaire is murdered, and his will leaves all his money to a beautiful young blonde. The murdered man's son thinks something is fishy, and a homicide cop sets out to find out who was behind the man's death. Complications ensue.

A member of a counterfeiting gang gives a forged note to his daughter. When she spends it on a dress the note ends up in the hands of the secret service, who then bring the entire gang to justice.

Bert Morgan and "Squint" Booth are freight agents for rival railroads concerned in getting the contract for hauling the gold ore produced by the Mogul Mountain mine. The contract finally falls to the road employing Morgan upon his promise to have cars in operation over an abandoned spur track within three weeks' time.

The late Mr. Ramsey is found dead after a quarrel with his son Jack Ramsey. Jack is arrested and sentenced to death. A young reporter girl swears she will prove he is not guilty.
