A foreign criminal gang makes a large-scale bank coup. The suspicion falls on the Olsen Gang. They escape, take up the hunt for the real criminals and thus it all starts. The police are looking for the Olsen Gang, and they are looking for the real criminals.

The extensive excavation work that followed the discovery of five Viking ships in Roskilde Fjord. Many problems had to be solved before the wreckage of the ships could be taken away for final conservation.

Two men meet by incident on a ferry, and they happen to continue the journey to Copenhagen by the same car in the night. In an intense and silent struggle for power, the driving turns out hazardously and with an ending open for interpretation.
