Biography
Mateo Krystek (born in Lima, 1991) is a Peruvian director and screenwriter, graduated with honours from the School of the Cinematographic Industry of Peru. His short film The Wrong Disguise (2016) won the Best Fiction Short Film award at the 20th Lima Film Festival and Seems Like Dawn (2017) was selected at the 19th Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival. His third short film, Words That Matter (2022), won the Incentive for Short Film Projects of the Bicentennial of Peru.
