On a lonely Christmas night, Missy falls into a slope of overdrinking. That night, Buck, a mystical creature, stumbles its way into Missy’s apartment. Yearning for food, the passive monster finds itself trapped in the woman’s claws.

"It's The Small Things" is a short documentary following Dorothy, a young Black woman studying journalism at Concordia University, as she navigates her everyday experiences with microaggressions. Made in the context of the 2021 Being Black in Montreal program.
