Biography

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Valle is a filmmaker by profession, with a degree in cinema from UNIFACHA, having released two short films as director, screenwriter and composer, “O Pêndulo” (2022) and “Status Quo” (2023), as well as “Quando o Sangue Flui” (2025), his first feature film, together with his writing and directing partner, Cainã de Paulo, with whom he opened CHUVA ESCURA, an independent creative collective aimed at opening up space for emerging filmmakers. He is also a founding member and bassist of the underground band Funeral Macaco, which has played several shows in the city's cultural centers, as well as an album entitled “Anguerenguê” (2023) and an EP called “Idade do Pássaro” (2025). He is also a writer, having published short stories in anthologies by genre publishers, as well as writing the book for his feature film, due to be released in 2025.

Paula Sangria, a woman on the run after murdering her husband meets Agnes, a foreigner seeking disappearance and erotic annihilation, as they wander through a fictional winter city inhabited by grotesque figures, sexual repression and moral decay.
