Snake Goddess Mansa is having a bad day. It's her birthday but she is restless and irritated by her followers in Naglok. Fortuitously Nagraj turns up and she manages to cajole him into revealing the name of her father, who is none other than Lord Shiva.

Mr. Oswal is a very rich, influential, domineering man who lives with his wife and two sons, Jayant and Ajay. Mr. Oswal convinces his elder son Jayant that he cannot marry the girl he loves, Chandra; he must marry the girl of his father's choice.

Due to her son's, Devdutt's arrest, Satyavati is unable to take the Badrinath Yatra. Subsequently, he starts to frequent a brothel to visit with a courtesan, Chandravati, and virtually refuses to do anything with his pregnant wife, Sheila. He even drinks alcohol, and assaults his father, Jaggannath, and brother, Sridhar. Things get even worse when he blinds his mother, lets Chandravati and her entourage move in their family home, and asks Sheila to serve the courtesan.
