The story involves an aloof thief, a young man who turns to God after his father’s suicide, a manipulative marriage councilor, a man who recently lost his job, and several others whose lives become intertwined in various unexpected ways.
Reiko is a single mother who raised her daughter, Kirara, on her own while running "With," a lingerie and cosplay manufacturing company. Kirara helps out at her mother's business and also works as a model for their products. Reiko has just embarked on the honeymoon for her tenth marriage—though her longest marriage to date lasted only three months. Kirara barely has time to worry about the marriage failing before Reiko returns, having already divorced while still in the limousine on the way to the airport...
All seniors at a high school stay together at a camp, including student Chinatsu. On their first day, the home room teacher announces that all the students must play the card game "Old Maid". In order to reverse the declining academic abilities of its younger generation, the Japanese government planned this camping program. In this card game, the students that lose will meet their deaths.
