Biography
Everardo Garcia Jr is a Mexican-American filmmaker who fields in directing, producing, and 1st assistant directing in many indie short films. His principal film vision is to direct and produce films that are not only bold, intense, and challenging but also entertaining. He has directed and produced over five festival award-winning short films including "Tradeoff" (2022), "Afterparty" (2025), and the upcoming "Break-In" (2025). Garcia Jr is also a film critic based in Chicago for Vizeit Reviews. He is also part of the Chicago Indie Critics, a film critics association that is dedicated to indie film journalism. Garcia Jr is ready to take on any challenge that can improve not only his technical filmmaking skills but also his everchanging artistic vision.
