A couple's relaxing trip to a remote lakeside resort turns into a nightmare when they unknowingly become entangled in the resort’s bizarre belief that its water can purify human souls.

A group of friends gather at a lakeside for a party. Mao stands alone, observing as Kenta flies a drone over the lake. He suddenly drowns but returns, exhausted. The others party in the cottage, unconcerned. At night, Kenta and others start obsessively drinking water, losing their will.

A young man appears at the workplace of Mito, a lame cleaner. He is a strange man who juggles all the time in silence, but he finds that he can use his talents for cleaning work as well. A new rhythm is born in the daily labour of routine.

In a neo-futuristic Japan, humans are able to mass-produce clones as “commodities,” which are stripped of emotions. But one female clone living with a man starts to develop emotions and feelings…
