In 1994, Ricardo gave up his dream of being a filmmaker. At twenty-four, he has already, in a way, accepted his destiny: that of a simple citizen, anonymous, lost in the immensity of consumer society. He will never be an artist. A call from Radio-Canada, however, rekindled the artistic flame of the young man whose application was selected among the finalists of the show La Course, 1994-95 Edition.

A fantasy anthology of 15 segments each dealing with a specific neighbourhood of Montreal and its signature idiosyncrasies. This terrifying tour-of-the-town captures neighbourhoods, buildings and iconic locations from North America's Amsterdam, shedding the straightforward storyline for a narrative melting-pot filled with demons, shadowy humanoids and disgusting otherworldly beings.

Leo, a lonely, anxious pizza delivery guy, stumbles upon John, a mysterious taxi driver seeking lonesome souls. This unusual encounter throws the young man into a dizzying delirium, disrupting his blossoming romance with Rita. As the leaves start falling from the trees, days are getting shorter, and the cold is settling in... Luckily, the first flames of love warm Leo’s heart. But beware: if you play with fire, you might get burned.

A film that mixes fiction and reality to talk about anxiety, a crucial subject today. The premise of the film is that psychological distress among young people has tripled since the beginning of the pandemic.
