Biography
Sudanese-Moroccan director, creative producer, and screenwriter, Sami is born in the UAE, drawn to stories that move between cultures and challenge familiar narratives. His work includes "Naima’s Movie (2022)", which traveled to 35+ festivals including the Red Sea & Rome Med Film Festivals and won eight awards, and "The Other Side of Beauty (2024)", presented in Carthage and South Africa, where it picked up two Best Documentary awards. In addition to "Water For The Birds (2026) his latest fiction short. Currently developing a fiction feature and a feature documentary, while working across Moroccan and international co-productions.
