Yekaterina Mikhailova

"The Night Before Christmas" is a Russian puppet cartoon that was created by director Ekaterina Mikhailova at the studio "AnimaFilm" of the Moscow Children's Fund with the support of Goskino in 1997.

A cartoon based on the novel of the same name by A.S. Pushkin.

There lived a grandfather and a woman, and they had a goat - but there was no grandson. The grandfather went to look for his grandson and found him in the cabbage.

The plot is based on the story of a boy who finds a wet toy puppy among the autumn leaves and begins to take care of it as if it were alive, which arouses the jealousy of his real dog.
