MA FU, a retired employee of the HK Correctional Services Department, moved back to live with his son after retirement. MA FU treats and disciplines everyone in his family as if they were the offenders he works with in his job. His youngest son MA CHONG feels like he's in jail when he gets home, and his father is even often involved with his job as a paralegal. The father and son get into disputes daily and his elder brother MA KEUNG and his wife LO LAI SEUNG are often stuck in between and have to settle the disputes. The couple also holds the heavy responsibility of raising their kids. Three generations in the MA family all live together and encounter different situations, experiences and system of values.

Since Hung Sue Yan moved in, a series of strange events have occurred in the family. Upon investigation, the source is traced to Lung Ging Fung, a promising young man who is the son of department store mogul Lung Gam Wai.

A Step into the Past is a 2001 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB and based on Huang Yi's novel of the same Chinese title. The series tells the story of a 21st-century Hong Kong VIPPU officer who travels back in time to the Warring States period of ancient China. He is involved in a number of important historical events that leads to the first unification of China under the Qin Dynasty. The series' first original broadcast ran from 15 October to 7 December 2001 on the TVB Jade network in Hong Kong.

Thirty years ago, hardened criminal Yip Siu-tin is arrested for armed robbery and sentenced to prison. Meanwhile, Chong Chi-kiu is a kid left behind by an accomplice who has died because of the robbery. Kind-hearted Tang Sing-him becomes his foster parent. A traffic accident causes Chi-kiu and Sum-yuet to run into each other again. But this accident somehow has something to do with Siu-tin, who is just released from prison. Sum-yuet can no longer avoid Siu-tin, who is a nightmare to her. Her marriage also has certain issues. The ending theme song Fat Sai is performed by Linda Chung and can be found in the Lady in Red album. It was first broadcast in August 2008.

As the co-founder of the Chinese law firm Donald & Co., Charles Cheuk, has been a chairman of its committee for many years. "My Mom, My Ping Pong" begins with ten-year-old Yu Cheuk Wing, who is passionate about table tennis. Cheuk Wing’s skills keep improving as her coach Kwok Yat, who has come to Hong Kong through the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, takes care of her. Cheuk Wing hates losing, and she is depressed as she suffers defeat. Moreover, she and her mother, Kong Chi Yan, are drifting apart as they do not really understand each other. Cheuk Wing is then reprimanded by Kwok Yat, and she is so frustrated that she declares she does not play table tennis anymore. Chi Yan offers her encouraging words but in vain. The duo contradict each other even more. To help Cheuk Wing overcome hurdles, Kwok Yat wants her to train Chi Yan to become a satisfactory table tennis player in one day. Cheuk Wing takes up this impossible task. Cheuk Wing uses the allure of table tennis to get closer to Chi Yan gradually. She also understands her mother and coach’s support is her strong backing.
