The film tells the story of Rosa, a tamale maker from the Quebrada de Humahuaca, who invested all her life savings in gold nuggets and suddenly passes away. Her physical disappearance unleashes the madness of her dystopian family, who enter into conflict over the fortune that Rosa left hidden.
