Marlina Shinta

As part of the research conducted by Diponegoro University's Anthropology Research Expedition community (ARE), this ethnographic film explores the annual Yadnya Karo celebration in Tosari Village, East Java. Yadnya Karo symbolizes the origin of human life. This documentation captures the sacred rituals, vibrant traditions, and enduring cultural identity of the Tengger people.

With a poem written and narrated by Leon Chaldranian, Marlina Shinta directs a coming-of-age short poetry film "The Cryptic Innocence" that tells the story of female youth alienation. Starring Nabila Zahranova Cinematography by Bima Utomo Audio arranged by Dewa Dayana

Ezra (M19) and Awan (F19) are two melancholic teenagers who one day meet by chance in the Library. In their meeting, they both feel they have the same memories and speculations. In the memories and speculations created between the two of them, they are lost in feelings of love in their minds. Those thoughts make them feel the complexity of love that they have never felt before.

Rehan, a street clown, struggles to support his disabled sister, Layla, and becomes entangled in the dark world of human trafficking to make ends meet. Despite the dangers, Rehan remains steadfast in his role as her protector.
