The Tagliamento, known as the "King of the Alpine Rivers," is considered Europe's last untamed river. Its course stretches from the peaks of the Dolomites to the Adriatic coast. With its braided riverbed, crystal-clear waters, and untouched banks, it shapes one of Europe's most remarkable natural landscapes. Wildcats and golden jackals roam the forests along its shores, while the river also flows through the Laguna di Marano, a rich brackish lagoon inhabited by swans and flamingos. Its journey ends at the Adriatic Sea, where the Tagliamento has been shaping the coastline for thousands of years.
India's wildcats have been symbols of strength & royalty since the ancient times. Despite the reverence they evoke and their own adaptability & prowess, these cats have been pushed to the brink. Yet, they are the last hope for protecting the country's wild spaces. Two years in the making, 'Wild Cats of India' has journeyed across country's contrasting landscapes with an ambition to paint an intimate portrait of the intriguing lives of wildcats.
