Biography
Fred Sprinkle grew up in a nomadic family, roaming the backwaters and backroads of North America. His first foray into filmmaking began with his work on the 2010 documentary Wrong Way to Hope: A Story of Young Adults and Cancer (2010). In 2020 Fred released an award-winning documentary short on the connections between police brutality and parenting called Excessive Force (2020). Fred is also the writer and director of the upcoming The Rites of Man (2025) a dark comedic exploration of the shadows of trauma lurking behind American masculinity.
