The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Saluele, known as Sami, is a young fiid delivery rider who spends his days cycling across Milan travelling from one end of the city to the other. On New Year's Eve, while the city bursts into celebration, beneath dazzling lights, he delivers a huge sushi order to a luxorious villa on the city's northern outskirts. Invited to stay for the evening, Sami meets Nia, and the two instantly form a powerful connection. But as a new romance begins to blossom, an impulsive decision will have fatal consequences, forcing Sami to decide whether to face the consequences of his actions.
