When Lida was a child she was tormented by one big and unrequited love. The girl was raised by her grandmother as the cuckoo mother dropped off her daughter and fled to Moscow in search of happiness. And Lida has been waiting for years for attention and love of her mom - Many years later, the wounded child turned into an angry adult with a cold heart. All Lida's attempts to build a family of her own failed. Men slip away from her looking for warmth and happiness on the side, and this even more harden the girl.
The director of the orphanage, Andrey Mast, is fighting the lawlessness reigning there and introducing strict rules. The new pupil Inna opposes these rules and will seek justice in her own way.
