In 2017 and 2019, Gemmel “Juelz” Moore (26) and Timothy “Tim” Dean (55), two gay black men, died of a meth overdose at the West Hollywood apartment of white businessman, activist & political donor Ed Buck (66). The parallel stories of these two men, are intimately told by the friends who loved them, grieve their loss, and who hope to protect others from similarly tragic fates.

Three gay men, Jose, Charlie, and Rigg, plagued by trauma of their own, undergo an emotional journey toward healing to become resilient, overcome their past, and finally speak out.

A story that highlights the outward expression of a young gay Black man, as he embarks on a soul-searching journey after a sexual liberation phase, post-break up. This film is a comedic drama that shines light on the truth of experience through the raw and authentic lens of transparency.
