Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".

A story about an agile Cossack named Aeneas. His free and peaceful life was disturbed by the goddess Juno, who did not like our hero and tried with all her might to torment him. Driven by her, Aeneas managed to cope with many difficulties, pass through the fires of hell and even cheat death itself. But the exciting adventures of the Cossack did not end there.

The Cossacks become involved in a dispute between the gods Zeus and Mars. Zeus wants to set up the Olympic games, while Mars wants to undermine him and start more wars. The Kozaks help Zeus and challenge Mars at the Games.

Poor Mikola came to the fair, but he has no money, only dreams and a cheerful disposition. On the way home, he got caught in the rain and took refuge in a terrible house, where he met with the ghost miller.

Once there lived the greed. She looked for kids, with which she could become bigger and more powerful. Greed could not even come close to those who have shared something with friends and fed animals and birds. But when she saw a little boy who does not want to let a girl from the yard play ball, she immediately went to him and began to cleverly feed his unwillingness to part with things. Soon she had moved to live in a separate room...

The elephant had a dream - to become white. And this dream almost came true: the artist gave the elephant a whole jar of white paint. The good elephant shared it with his friends - a bear cub, a hare, a mouse. But for him, the leftover paint was enough only for his tusks...

Humorous tales about the life of a little boy. About how he was born without a father and mother, how he was hit by a snow lying on the oven in his hut, how he walked into the woods being a kid, and the miraculous things he had seen there. In his fantasies he could fly, make friends with birds, climb trees, and most importantly – do it all in infancy and without looking at anyone else. Based on poems by Stepan Rudanskyi.

The dragon Horynych attacks ordinary Ukrainian village residents. He takes young men and women, leaving only senior villagers. But a young boy named Kotyhoroshko decides to confront the dreadful Dragon. First, he needs to get appropriate weapons and call his friends warriors…
