Biography
Frank Vella is a Director/Producer who enjoys telling bold stories that push the medium of filmmaking to its limits and beyond. Frank is a 2021 graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a major in Directing and a minor in producing. Over the years Frank has gained much experience from being a part of various film sets, internships, and personal passion projects. One of his favorite positions he has held is head of video productions at the non-profit organization Sing-Out. Since 2019 Frank has helped put together series of advertisements for the non-profit in order to help promote their annual shows. Frank continues to work with Sing-Out today as well as working on various short films, feature films, commercials, and behind the scenes content. His favorite element of filmmaking is combining practical elements with various technologies to create something that pushes the envelope and encapsulates audiences' attention.
