Francesco and his mother live together in an apartment behind the Pavía cathedral. The son looks after his mother who's been in a wheelchair for a few years. All days are the same, but Francesco's dreams start merging with quotidianly to transcend the rooms and hallways that have become his whole world.
Italia, theories for a home movie
Ėjzenštejn's unrealised dream was to make a film adaptation of The Capital. Mario Blaconà uses archives from the working-class world and the direct testimony of Vittorio Alfieri to recount the birth of the Red Brigades in Italy. We are no longer in Russia, we are no longer in the Winter Palace. A powerful historical testimony of a still obscure period in the history of our country.
The Storming of the Winter Palace

A representation of the change of evil through the superstructures of power. The walls of the former concentration camp of Trieste, the Risiera di San Sabba, give the words of knowledge a sense of physical trail, thanks to the prophetic text by Jean Baudrillard, “The transparency of evil”, which however is not accompanied by the images, but chooses a path that is autonomous and at the same time parallel to them.
