On Monday, February 13, 2023, Charles Dubouloz, Clovis Paulin, and Symon Welfringer reached the summit of the Grandes Jorasses after repeating the Walker Spur, first climbed by Patrick Gabarrou and Hervé Bouvard in July 1986 and never repeated until then. After five days of climbing, the trio fulfilled a long-held dream, under the watchful eyes of Gabarrou and Bouvard themselves.

At 4,892m, it takes most people between four and six days to complete the journey to and from the summit. We also see how the loss of Estelle and Adèle shaped Léo's life, and how he learned to live with this pain and keep moving forward. This contradiction that high mountains represent for Léo is the central theme of the film.
