Biography
From Tamaki Makaurau, New Zealand, Arthur Gay is a director and writer based in NYC and recent graduate and of the Columbia University MFA film program. He is the recipient of the Milos Forman Directing Fellowship, the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Mentorship and Development Prize and a Sundance Fellow from the 2024 Screenwriters Intensive Program. His most recent short film 'When the Geese Flew' will world premiere at Cannes Directors Fortnight 2025. Before moving to the USA, he completed his bachelor's degree in Film at Unitec Institute of Technology.
