This movie is made in the background of partition. Monosa, daughter of the patriot Monindra.The movie revolves around Himangshu and Monosa's marriage during Partition and Monosa's determination not to leave the motherland.

During anti-Ayub movement in the 1960’s a young leftwing political activist had warrant against him. He would secretly move around by trains. Police detectives followed him. It was never clear in the poem whether the young man went to his village and met his mother and comrades, or whether he was just thinking about them and thus the past, present and future of the politics of that particular time of our history all converged in his subconscious.

The depiction of a deprived person is the Nekabbarer. He who lost his wealth in the wrong way, joined the liberation war of 1971, he lost his lover, lost a leg in the war. After the war crippled the rest of the life has to be spent. He had to stay in the madhouse. Nekabbarer went out of the garrison to starve, got the deprivation of society and the lance. Nekabbarer faced death, for ending their deprivation.

Dukhu, fleeing an abusive stepfather, leaves his mother and works for a wealthy family. Seeking nirvana, he meets a sage who teaches him that freedom requires letting go of love. Inspired, Dukhu abandons his attachment to his mother.
