After being falsely accused of a terrible crime, Hector, a man with a neurological disability, goes to a secret prison. His goodness conquers the prisoners, who plan to prove their innocence.

The story follows the Castaño Gil family, a prosperous cattle ranching family marked by the kidnapping and murder of patriarch José Castaño by the guerrilla. This event triggers the decision of brothers Fidel, Vicente, and Carlos to form a self-defense army to fight the guerrillas, intensifying the armed conflict in Colombia. However, what seemed like a unified struggle is threatened by betrayal.

Boyacoman lives with a nephew he had to take care of after the death of his sister. One day they receive an unexpected visit from a famous French professor and archaeologist who gives them a map that leads to a big emerald and from that moment on, a great adventure begins.
