One day a completely ordinary man finds out that is fatally ill. Reflecting upon his last will, he understands that he has nobody. And here he decides to place an advert in a newspaper.

An insurance agent, an accountant, a digital gravedigger, a homeless accordion player, a typography designer and seven other completely different people meet at a cooking class. Father and son are driving a car through a monotonous, endless, cold autumn landscape. Their paths will all cross and life will never be the same again. Ultimately, each of them will understand what it means to be an angel on this cruel, dry, gray earth.
