Leela is the story of Leela, an aware, liberal woman who struggles with the true meaning of independence. It is also the story of Krishna, born of Indian parents in America but uncomfortable with his hyphenated existence. Leela then is a universal story of two paths that cross each other and pause a moment before moving on.

Uday owns a music company and has two siblings, Riju and Srija, who are heartbroken after experiencing a break-up in their relationships. Later, Uday tries to console them and make them happy.

Dipto and Riddhi are married working in a corporate office, both have busy work schedules. All was well until Dipto got involved in an extra marital affair with his colleague, Shruti. Currently, they are awaiting a divorce. Both imagine that this will bring a leash of fresh air into their lives but destiny has something else in store for them. There is a sudden rush of happiness by the name of a certain Khushi. But then Khushi remains a mysterious entity, effectively changing the equations of the lives of Riddhi and Dipto. Will Khushi help them start afresh?
