Don't Interrupt While We Dance

A short film that captures a lesbian relationship in the early 20th century. It begins in August 1947, as Nehru’s speech “Tryst with Destiny” rings across India. A short film that is based on the story of two queer persons deeply in love with each other. It unravels through 13 scenes, each depicting a conversation, followed by a photograph, and a poetic narration.
