Biography
A Syrian actress, nicknamed the "First Lady of Syrian Comedy," she is the older sister of actress Sabah Al-Jazaeri. She entered the world of acting by coincidence in 1963 when Syrian director Qasimah Touzan saw her and offered her a role on television in the play Abu Al-Banat, where she played the role of a nurse. She later worked at the military theater as an employee for several years before gaining momentum with more roles and success, eventually standing alongside Syria’s top actresses. She gained notable attention through the series Wayn Al-Ghalat (Where's the Mistake), and her widespread fame came both locally and across the Arab world through the popular series A'ilat Al-Nujoom (The Stars Family) with director Hisham Sharbatji.
