After Young-sin(71), the mother who spent her life by her husband’s side, suddenly passes away, the second daughter Sun-hee(37) decides to care for her father Dae-sung(75), who suffers from dementia, until he moves into a nursing home. She has long resented him for being a neglectful and violent father, making the days they spend together deeply uncomfortable. One day, Dae-sung asks to visit Taebaek, his hometown where he once shared memories with Young-sin in their youth. Calling it his last wish, he persuades Sun-hee to take an uneasy journey with him.
