Two young men share a brief encounter at a party and form a strong bond as they delve deeper into each others' lives.
Based on real events and set in the Brazilian backlands, the script follows the journey of Carla and Luzinete, two sisters marked by a childhood of abandonment and violence, in a Brazil of dictatorship, popular religiosity and still-open social wounds.
Through a keyhole, we follow Luzinete during her last living hours, filled with substance abuse, solitude and deceit. The story glimpses at the unbroken bond between Luzinete and her son Raphael.
A comedy that tells the story of a married couple whose wife finds out the husband is gay. At the same time, the comedy voices the plights of the Latin American community – also called the “invisible community” in the UK. The film combines the sharpness of both, Latin and British humour.
