"Czas pogardy" was shown primarily from the perspective of two main characters - Lieutenant Władysław Niwiński and Leon Kuraś - a petty crook, but not without heroic traits. The authors of the series sought to show, in particular, everyday life under Nazi occupation in Poland.

However, it turns out that the maiden's father does not have the money to repay the debt. Upset, Stach leaves without saying goodbye. Krzemień's mortgage debt is sold to a friend, who buys the property. Plawicki and his daughter leave for Warsaw.
