The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone (2020) is Francis Ford Coppola’s re-edited, 157-minute version of The Godfather Part III, serving as a definitive epilogue. Set in 1979, an aged Michael Corleone seeks to legitimise the family business and find a successor. The plot focuses on his guilt over killing Fredo and his desperate, often violent struggle to untangle the Corleone legacy from both the Mafia and corrupt Vatican finances.
