The film is based on tragic events that took place ten years ago in the city of Taraz. The action begins one day before the tragedy that occurred on 12 November 2011, when police captain Gaziz Baytasov sacrificed his own life to stop a suicide bomber and save the lives of dozens of civilians who found themselves at the epicentre of the events.

Teens set out to improve the lives of their fellow villagers. To achieve this, they combine their ideas and talents and start filming short videos about everyday life in their village. As they discover the power of TikTok, they realize that their village is the key to their success.

In a modest family of a fishing village, the father of the Kadyr family dies. He is drowned on the boat of the local wastrel Makosh, who threatens the wife of the deceased that if they do not repay the debt for the sunken ship. The widow Sarah tries to find a way out of the situation, but her plans fall apart with the arrival of Kadyr’s brother.
