Frankie and Charlie have moved to a tiny house. They regret it. It’s Christmas Eve. Frankie is miserable. Charlie’s organised a festive family lunch. Then Charlie finds a disoriented cockatiel by the river. She tucks him into a box and brings him inside. Little do they know – this bird has its own agenda. Snapshot depicts the relationship between two sisters, 18-year-old Sophie and 14-year-old Alex, at a family barbecue one summer afternoon. When a video of Sophie is leaked online, Alex is the only one who jumps to her aid. Snapshot examines the psychological effects of sexual cyber-harassment on victims, not only from their tormenter, but also the harmful reactions of friends and family.
