I will strip you naked and let the nations see you, see you in all your shame." __________________________________________ In 2021, during the creative process of conceptualizing the visual elements for the film "Womb," this project was created, made possible through the collaboration of two dear friends and lifelong companions: Mohammadreza Mousavi and Hamid Hasnpor (H.).

This fragmented body… usually manifests itself in dreams when the movement of the analysis encounters a certain level of aggressive disintegration in the individual.it then appears in the form of disjointed limbs, growing wings and taking up arms for intestinal persecutions.

"Alrighty, then ... picture this if you will. 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" pose, just outside of Area 51 Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thingy when a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping.. Like I woke up in Wonderland, all sort of terrifying And can anyone tell me why you all sound like Peanuts parents? Will I ever be coming down?" The filming itself was essentially a visual improvisation, an exploratory performance by Tina YounesTabar in 1402 (2023). It was captured through images taken during dawn, at a time when a Banana was splitting the sky in two. In the editing process, these fragments were woven together to become the film you see today.

Mouth, anus, sphincters, round muscles closing our holes, the opening and the closing of the world, attack cleanly (teeth, lips, the muscled mouth) and finish cleanly ( cut off the air). Stop cleanly. Chew and eat the text. A blind spectator should be able to hear it crunched and swallowing. Mastication, sucking, swallowing. Pieces of text must be bitten off, viciously attacked by the female eaters ( lips, teeth); other pieces must be quickly gulped down, swallowed, gobbled up, breathed in, guzzled. Eat, gulp, eat, chew, dry lung, chew, masticate, cannibal!

The making of this film harks back to a time when the ideas of Spiral Spectrum were still taking shape. It was shot with an old JVC Handycam, during a autumn sunset when the sun spilled its deepest crimson hues over the leaves... During that period, a live version of Swans' track "I Am Tower" was playing—an echo that accompanied the filming process. The cinematographer listened attentively, striving to find a portal into another realm of perception, amidst the rhythmic dance of music, light, and leaves.

In the summer of 2023, during a trip to Gorgan, we decided to create an audio-visual project at the family garden house of our friend Aria. Soheil narrated this adventure with an old JVC camera, and the audio of this video is from the album of the "Mourners Project". The filming was done on the occasion of a solo live performance in the garden. At the time, we thought it would probably be the last time we would perform in that garden, as a long-term fraud process had led some people to attempt to confiscate the property. Although fortunately, they have not succeeded yet, and perhaps another trip to Gorgan will be an excuse for a new project. In this video, the vintage aesthetic of the Handycam is blended with the personal shots from Aria's camera. Finally, this year, on the occasion of the track "Anger Management," these images were edited together to preserve this memory of that friendly journey during the hot summer days.

The film created for "Tavern of Ruin"(Track from Mourners Project). captures an improvisation born on a Spring’s day from the depths of the terrain, where thought becomes gesture, and image merges with flow. The process of filming and production unfolded two months after the recording of the album—a moment suspended between the trees of Lahijan, where an orangehead flowamidst spectra of rhythms and colors. In a spiraling movement, it shifts from one plane of flow to another—an endless becoming, a spiral voyage through layered terrains of sensation and perception.

This film, in a way, sparked the very first glimmers of the Spiral Spectrum idea. One night of the year 2023, , Amirhossein, feeling unwell, sat at the piano and played something—music that would later be used in the film. Soheil recorded an audio file that night, and the following day, while improvising with an old Panasonic Handycam, he played back the previous evening’s recording. The film you see is essentially a long, continuous one-take shot, captured through that process. During the editing, additional sounds and textures were layered into the musical fabric— including the voice of Maynard James Keenan performing a live rendition of "Simultaneous," and sounds from conversations among astronauts during one of their exploratory missions. In the end, it was after experiencing the final cut a few days later, once the editing was complete, that the essence of the Spiral Spectrum began to take shape in our minds.

In winter 2023, the Spiral Spectrum project began by filming this video. The music was recorded in autumn of that year, and its first name was The Quintessence of Nostalgia. In editing process, the poem (Am Wolkenstieg song by empyrium) was also added to the music. This is a part of that poem translated into English: "Silent, softly floating Yearning to go out, out! Where summits darken and heavy On the cloud path over pale."
