Biography
Living in Jeju Island, Korea, Kim Sungeun is happily traversing between an activist, video writer, and film director. She is interested in making movies as a venue for solidarity that records and senses common memories through cameras. The Memory of the 25th Hour (2017) is her debut directorial film, and she also co-directed The Will (2018) and Some Queer Bo-ki (2020).

In 2022, the Spring Wind Project chronicled the "Spring Wind Pilgrimage." Now, in 2024, as they face the challenges posed by the Yoon Sukyeol administration's policies, the filmmakers embark on a new collective endeavor. Once again, they connect with those on the frontlines of social struggles, capturing their resilience and determination.

The film shows demonstrations against building the second airport in Jeju Island the performances of environmentalists very closely and in detail, by which it develops a desperate love story.
