Biography
Was an Argentine writer, poet, essayist, literary critic and biographer. He was awarded the National Prize for Literature: in 1932, for his poetic work, and in 1937, for the essay Radiography of the Pampas. Founding member of the Sociedad Argentina de Escritores (SADE), he served as president of this organization on two occasions, from 1933 to 1934 and from 1942 to 1946. In 1960 he obtained the Casa de las Américas Prize for his essay Functional Analysis of Culture .

Film made up of two independent films: Martínez Estrada y su tiempo, a montage film with events that occurred in Argentina between the '20s and the '70s, and La cosecha, a complaint against the excesses of the bureaucracy and the conspiracy against the work of a farmer, based on the homonymous story by Ezequiel Martínez Estrada.
