Oso and his neighbour Iván are locked in a tense relationship. When Iván’s cat, Gretel, is attacked, Oso saves her and forms an unexpected bond with her. This act of compassion sparks an even greater conflict between the two, pushing their enmity to dangerous levels.

Bryan, an eleven-year-old boy, dreams of meeting his father who left to the U.S. and never came back. While his mother works hard to pay for his education, he wants to drop out of school to become a cowboy just like the rest of the men in his family.
